Testing Networks.
Engineering Reliability.
I am Vishnu Thaker — a Software Engineer currently at Arista Networks, working with Arista EOS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), multi-device topology design, network troubleshooting, Python automation, and Linux systems.
An engineer with deep networking domain expertise and a drive for reliable infrastructure.
I'm a Computer Engineering graduate from CHARUSAT, currently with Arista Networks where I continue to work in the enterprise networking domain. This hands-on experience has given me deep exposure to Arista EOS, routing protocols, and production-grade network infrastructure — skills that translate directly into network operations and engineering roles.
I've worked hands-on with Arista EOS across lab and staging environments — designing multi-device network topologies, validating routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, and multicast configurations, and troubleshooting complex network issues at the packet level. I bring structured problem-solving to every issue: packet captures, log analysis, and root-cause diagnosis that leads to permanent fixes.
I'm deeply comfortable in Linux, write Python to automate repetitive networking and QA tasks — topology provisioning, log scraping, configuration validation — and understand how infrastructure fits into CI/CD pipelines. Eager to bring my networking domain knowledge into a hands-on network engineering role, especially in high-performance environments like financial services.
Networking Domain Knowledge
Hands-on experience with Arista EOS, routing protocols, VLANs, QoS, and multicast at Arista Networks.
Topology & Validation
Multi-device topology design, end-to-end feature validation, and protocol-level debugging with Wireshark and tcpdump.
Python & Linux
Automation tooling for topology provisioning, log analysis, and configuration validation — built on Linux with Python scripting.
CI/CD & Release Validation
Jenkins, Docker, AWS — gating releases on a green validation matrix and collaborating across global engineering teams.
